Rava Glen: A glen in the Arkwood, not far from Eunoe's home. The nymphs of Arkwood live around Eunoste's home, and the satyrs live in Rava Glen, though the two groups frequently meet and intermingle.
Reanne: A human nurse in a hospital in Elf Righteous.
Rim: Appearing in Elf Righteous, Rim is an ipotane who has been recruited to the Royal Seers by Samessil. Rim is intelligent and well-read, and has some mind-reading abilities.
Rob: A human from Whitehall. One of Paul Withers' neighbors.
Ronan: A leprechaun who has abandoned service to the World of Order and opened a bar in a human city. He employs the ogre Erl as a bouncer and general laborer.
Royal Army: The army of Oberon. The purpose of the Royal Army is both to protect High Haven and the World of Order, and thus has dominion over all the star stations. It does not tend to interfere with the affairs of warring kingdoms, though exceptions have been made by petition if a particular aggressor is deemed too much of a threat, such as one seeking world domination.
Rubbing: A recording of an imprint made by placing a piece of paper overtop and rubbing it with the broad side of a pencil, or a piece of charcoal or chalk. Can be used to find out what has been written on a notepad if the initial page was removed, for example. In Elf Mastery, Kyla makes a rubbing of a stone she finds at Sulafat Station, which ends up getting her into trouble.
Rust: A dwarf employed at the Royal Palace in High Haven. So-called because of his red beard. His official title is Master of the Halls, and his duties include searching visitors to the throne room for weapons and poisons, as well as triage for supplicants seeking judgment or advice from the King and Queen.
